PM KISAN 14th installment by last week of June; Know date, beneficiary status

NEW DELHI: The 14th installment of PM KISAN Yojna is expected to be released in the last week of June 2023. Eligible beneficiaries will receive Rs. 2,000 in 14th installment. The official website to check beneficiary status is – pmkisan.gov.in. It should be noted that eKYC is mandatory for PM KISAN registered farmers. They can complete eKYC online from the PMKISAN portal or from the nearest CSC centre.

PM KISAN 14th Installment Payment

The 14th installment of PM KISAN will be provided through a direct benefit transfer mechanism. Rs. 2,000 will be credited to the bank account of the registered farmer provided he/she has completed eKYC.

  • Click on Know Your Status
  • Login with your registration number and captcha code
  • Check your status of the 14th installment

An sms on the 14th installment of PM KISAN payment will also be sent to the registered number of farmers.

PM KISAN 13th installment

The 13th instalment of PM KISAN was launched on February 27, by Hon’ble Prime Minister. He launched the installement in an event held in Belgavi, Karnataka. Farmers can check their bank accounts to know if they have received the installment. A total of Rs. 2,000 are transferred to farmers in each installment. Those farmers who could not get the PM KISAN benefit can contact the PM KISAN helpline number 155261 / 011-24300606 to know the status of payment.

What is PM Kisan Yojna?

PM Kisan Yojna scheme was launched on December 1, 2018, by the Government of India. PM Kisan is a central sector scheme, meaning the central government provides 100% funding. Under this scheme, financial support of Rs. 6,000 per year is provided to small and marginal farmers’ families in three equal installments. The financial help is provided through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mechanism. The objective of PM KISAN is to increase the income level of farmers. It is believed that PM KISAN helps the farmers meet the input cost of their agricultural produce and improve the quality of crop. The PM KISAN is also an attempt to protect the farmers from falling into the debt trap of moneylenders and empower them.

PM KISAN Budget for 2023-24

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman (KISAN) has an annual budget of Rs. 60,000 crore for the current financial year. Last year, the overall budgetary estimate for this scheme stood at Rs. 68,000 crore.
