Henry Ruggs jailed for up to 10 years over fatal DUI crash

Henry Ruggs III has been sentenced to three to ten years in prison.

Ruggs caused a fatal car crash in November 2021, resulting in the death of Tina Tintor and her dog.

He had been driving at speeds up to 156 mph and had a blood-alcohol level twice the legal limit.

Ruggs had been drinking with friends before the crash, and he and his fiancee were heading home.

The crash led to Ruggs being cut from the Raiders, and he expressed remorse during sentencing.

He pleaded guilty to DUI resulting in death and misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter.
